What to Expect on Your First Visit

Before Your Session
Intake Form: When you come in for your first session, you'll receive a simple intake form to complete. This helps us understand your health history, current concerns, and what you're hoping to address in your session.
Arrive 10 Minutes Early: We recommend arriving a few minutes early to settle into the calm, healing environment and complete any final paperwork.
During Your Session
Initial Conversation: Your practitioner will begin with a brief conversation about your goals, any pain or tension you're experiencing, and what you'd like to focus on. This is your time to share anything important about your body or your healing journey.
Intuitive Assessment: Your practitioner will listen to your body—literally and intuitively—to understand what's happening beneath the surface. They'll assess your posture, movement, energy, and any areas of tension or restriction.
Customized Bodywork: Based on your needs and their intuitive sense, your practitioner will select techniques tailored specifically for you. This might include deep tissue work, trigger point therapy, cupping, energy healing, breathwork, cranial work, or any combination of modalities. Your session is uniquely designed for your body in this moment.
Your Comfort is Priority: You'll be fully clothed or draped appropriately, depending on the type of work. The space is warm, calm, and private. You can always ask for adjustments to pressure, temperature, or technique at any time.
Safe, Sacred Space: You'll be treated with respect, professionalism, and genuine care. This is a judgment-free zone where you can relax, release, and be fully yourself.
After Your Session
Integration Time: After your session ends, take a few moments to transition. Drink water, move slowly, and notice how your body feels. Many clients experience a deep sense of calm or emotional release—this is all part of the healing process.
Day 1 Follow-Up: We'll reach out within 24 hours to check in on how you're feeling and answer any questions about your experience.
Ongoing Support: We'll continue to support your healing journey with periodic check-ins, wellness tips, and encouragement to maintain your healing momentum.
Questions?
What's the difference between a 60-minute and 90-minute session?
A 60-minute session gives us time for a thorough intake and focused bodywork. A 90-minute session allows for deeper work, multiple modalities, and more comprehensive integration. Many clients find 90 minutes ideal for addressing chronic issues.
Can I request a specific modality?
Absolutely! While our practitioners use intuitive, real-time technique selection, you can always mention preferences during booking or your intake. We're here to meet your needs.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows easy movement. Depending on the type of work, you may remain fully clothed or be appropriately draped. Your practitioner will explain what to expect.
Is it normal to feel emotional during or after a session?
Yes! Bodywork, breathwork, and energy work can release stored emotions and trauma held in the body. Emotional release is a healthy, natural part of healing. Your practitioner is trained to support you through this.
